Design Directory: Bandung locates 60 design agencies and studios and charts the creative ecosystem of Bandung Creative City.

The directory treats the design community as a network.

Practitioners, associations, and communities appear together, so that readers at any stage can see where they sit in it and who is nearby.

It is presented as a map, in print and digital form, with symbology designed specifically for it.

Presenting the information spatially shows what a plain list cannot: where studios cluster, how they relate to one another, and how they connect to the surrounding ecosystem.

Visual Branding Icon Design

Graphic Design

Brand expression sits in the system, not in individual symbols. Every symbol shares the same construction, with the same grid, stroke weight, corner radius, and visual weight, so the set reads as one visual language.

Cartography

Symbology

Forms are kept schematic, with one or two defining features and metaphors familiar to the design community, so they read as readily for students and enthusiasts as for practitioners.

Symbols are told apart by silhouette first and by color second, so the map stays legible in grayscale print and for readers with color-vision differences.

Built as a Practical, Open Reference, Design Directory Bandung Brings Practitioners, Students, Associations, & Communities Into a One Shared View.
